Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community is seeking a knowledgeable, personable Rehabilitation
Technician to support our stellar clinical team. As a Wellness Guide, you will assist the team by preparing
treatment areas, equipment and materials, and assisting patients with their treatment program exercises
under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Job Duties:
● Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming them, comforting them, and
providing them with assistance when required.
● Helps patients with their physical therapy treatment programs as prescribed by Physical
Therapist:
● applying heat packs
● paraffin dips
● helping patients onto exercise equipment
● monitoring motion
● tracking walking time and distance
● performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques
● Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines
● Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient information confidential,
as required by law
● Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations.
● Ensures optimal safe operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive
maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
● Maintains physical therapy supplies inventory by:
● checking stock to determine inventory levels;
● anticipating which supplies will be needed by therapists;
● placing and expediting orders for supplies;
● verifying receipt of supplies.
● Performs office duties such as answering phones, scheduling, calling patients to remind them of
upcoming appointments, checking patients in and out, and collecting co-pays.
Rehab Tech Requirements:
● Must have knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.
● Must be able to multitask, while paying attention to details.
● Must be personable and empathetic while working with patients.
● Has the ability to be flexible and organized while functioning well in stressful situations.

Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
